Plant Profile:

Available in:

10” Pots and Baskets

All summer until the first frost.

Morning sun with 4-6 hours of shade in the afternoon.  Do not leave outside if the temperature is going to drop below 45 degrees overnight.

Prefers moist soil so check the top soil and once it is dry to the touch it is ready for a thorough watering (as always, over watering will result in root rot!).  The Impatiens wilt easily but also recover quickly .

Use a water soluble fertilizer every third watering at the recommended rate on the packaging.

The New Guinea Impatiens shed their flowers and thus it is not necessary for you to “clean” it as most other flowers.  However it is best to lightly shake the flower to allow the old flowers to fall off.
